In addition to our popular group courses, Chuckra Tuition helps students on a one-to-one basis through regular weekly lessons in term-time or holiday periods.
In which subjects does Chuckra Tuition offer one-to-one tuition?
Most of our 11 plus exam tuition takes place through our group courses and our one-to-one lessons focus on the core skills of Maths, English & Science. However, should your child not be suited to a small group course, please feel free to discuss the option of one-to-one 11+ tuition.
Where do the lessons take place?
Either at the student's house (provided this is within the tutor's travel area) or at one of our tuition venues in South Bucks (Buckinghamshire).
Will my child have the same tutor each lesson?Yes, your child will work with the same tutor each lesson. In some circumstances (generally for KS3 or GCSE students), your child may have different tutors for different subjects, however the same tutor will work with your child each lesson for a specific subject.
This ensures that the tutor not only gets to know your child's strengths and weaknesses, but also builds a strong bond with your child and can adapt their tuition approach to suit your child's needs. The tutor will also choose the appropriate course of study and required materials to engage your child and ensure they enjoy their lessons. How much do one-to-one lessons cost?
Lessons are £25 in the Beaconsfield or Gerrards Cross vicinity. Each lesson is 50 minutes during term-time and one hour during holiday periods.
